Configuring a Business Process to Interact with a Laserfiche Repository

For a business process to interact with a Laserfiche repository, the business process needs to know the following connection information: the Laserfiche Server, the repository, and the user that you want to Workflow to interact with the repository as. This information is stored as the connection profile listed in the Business Process Options.

Business process profile: The connection profile used by a business process and its activities. When creating a business process profile you can copy information from common and user profiles. Any changes to the copied information will only affect the business process profile and will not change the common or user profile.

Note: Only one business process profile is allowed per business process definition.

To configure a business process connection profile

1. Open a saved business process or build a new one in the Designer Pane. Click the empty space of the canvas and navigate to the Business Process Options property box in the Properties Pane.
2. In the Business Process Options property box, click Select a connection profile. Show me what this looks like.



3. The Workflow Profile Manager dialog box will open. Either configure a new connection profile or select a previously configured connection profile. More information.
